Creates Cards from Emails I am sending in Outlook

Hello

I have multiple email accounts set out in Outlook (2 Exchange/3Google Workplace via IMAP).

I need to be able to do the following:

- When I send an email out, create a trello card that goes to the specific board I select and that (very important) allows me to set a due date/alarm. This allows me to know what I need to chase back

- Create cards from incoming emails (I saw that I can do it with "Send to Trello", but it doesnt work for emails I am sending).

Is there any tool whether from Atlassian or third parties to do that?

If you forward the incoming/outgoing emails to your Trello board then it will automatically create a card for you (see this article for more details). When you forward the message, you can add a line on top saying something like "this card is due on xx date"; then Atlassian AI will automatically parse that message and add the due date on the card. (Note: AI capabilities are only available in the paid plans, and not in the free plan)

Oh ok I didnt realise the forwarding option allowed me to add a date, thanks!

Sorry, but what do you mean by 'on top'? If I am replying to an email and adding the email address on bcc I cannot have random text in the email, it looks bad for the recipients. Am I misunderstanding how this works?

I just need to find a way to add a card from an outgoing email with a due reminder automatically set in.

I dont know if there is any add-ins as well that I could use?

Because if this doesnt work I dont need trello.
