Create new card returns 'invalid value for idList'

Hello,

I would like to use the Trello API to automatically generate cards in a list through a custom script. I am encountering problems with the POST request at

url = "https://api.trello.com/1/cards"

I followed the documentation but am receiving following error

invalid value for idList

I am sure that the idlist is not invalid. I tested all list ids with the both an API request and by addind .json at the url and it still does not work.

Should I add the board id somewhere or am I missing something?

Hi Dennis, How are you?

Are you retrieving the IDs of your lists with the following API call: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/api-group-boards/#api-boards-id-lists-get

Normally, you can then use the ID retrieved with your script and you should be good to go
