Copy card without attaching the 2 together

When I copy a card, it then also shows an attachment in both cards.

So if I copy a card to several other cards, the card being copied from ends up with many attachments (linked to the newly created card).  

How do I prevent these attachments being created.  There used to be an option to select if I wanted to keep Attachments when copying but this is no longer there.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Can you help me with how are you copying cards, specifically? I was not able to reproduce this behavior. Copying a card doesn't create any attachments for me.
