Collaboration with clients

I am considering using Trello to collaborate with clients about action items/ lists.  I would like to have multiple clients on the same board but only have each client see their own stuff.  Some clients might not joint trello b/c they use something else.  I want to avoid making a board for each client (too many).  Tom (5 action items), Sally (7 action items), Tim (12 actions).

1) can I easily have a client join a list or a specific card?  Or can I simply email a list or a card to a client?  Screen shot or copy?  Export to email?

2) Is there a power-up that might help.

Some clients just want to use email?  Thoughts or suggestions?  Thanks.

In short:  Trello access is regulated by board.  So if you have multiple clients, you'd need a separate board for each client.  Otherwise clients see and access each others lists.
