Checklist item autopopulates with a due date (which is incorrect)

Kathryn Miller
November 27, 2023

I have a checklist on a checklist template card in Trello. I use a Butler automation which adds the checklist to a card when I move the card from my "Under Contract" to "Closed" list.

Freakishly, Trello adds a due date for my yearly follow up call. The date happens to be incorrect, plus it doesn't exist on the checklist template.

The first screenshot here is the checklist as it appears in the Checklist Template Card:

Upon moving a card from my "Under Contract" list to my "Closed" list, a Butler automation adds that checklist to the card but also adds a random due date for the follow up call, see screenshot below:

Thank you for any help offered, it seems to be a software glitch to me.

Kathryn.

Hi @Kathryn Miller

Are you sure you don't have any other automations running? One way to check is to look in the card activity log to see if the date was set by automation, specifically looking for the via butler tag
