I sent a message and have heard NO RESPONSE!! I was charged for standard package and when I invited my students to the board I was charged $527.28.
On the standard package description it states unlimited collaborators and then I was charged extra when they joined .
@Gina Brown if you create a support ticket, they should reach back out to you soon: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
But i think what might have happened is that you maybe added those students as workspace members? You will be charged for every workspace member. I assume you may just want to make yourself the only workspace member, and then add your students directly to a single board in that workspace. In that case, you will not be charged for the students. (It's a bit confusing, but basically you don't pay for people who are only part of one board in your workspace, but you DO pay for people on multiple boards or people who are workspace members. Watch this video to learn more about the collaborators and terminology: https://youtu.be/jJVfiaBKVZA
Yes after lots of reading through things on the website I did see this however I still think it is quite misleading when it is advertised as unlimited colaborators . Really not making it clear what counts as that ? A member or a guest or who?
Anyway I can't pay $500 I just can't . So I am requesting a refund and I have taken everyone off the boards . Please consider this as a huge mistake .
thanks for your response

@Gina Brown I don't work for Trello so i can't really do anything about considering this a huge mistake unfortunately. As you should be able to get a refund and I hope my explanation helped clarify exactly what happened here (even if it's not desired), would you mind accepting this answer so if folks have a similar question they know there is an answer in here? (Even if it's maybe not the answer everyone wants so hear 😭)
