I use Trello for personal reasons and have a paid subscription. I am trying to change the email address associated with my account (both emails have the same domain name) and I keep getting the same error ‘Invalid email - The provided email address is not allowed, please us a different one'

Hi @1220attr ,

Is your new email address already associated with another Trello or Atlassian account? The Trello document states: 

It is not possible to change an email credential to an email address that is already in use with another Trello account.

If that's the case, you can follow the steps under "Can't change unmanaged user's email address due to email address already in use" in this document: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-cloud/kb/change-atlassian-account-email-addresses/

If that doesn't apply, I'd recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support directly (select Account Login and Email Issues)https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Hi Liam,

Thanks for the note, super helpful. Unfortunately, I can’t log a ticket with Atlassian as when I try, it ask me ‘What is the site URL of your app within your organisation’. As I am using Trello for personal reasons, I have a subscription, but it is not through an organisation.

Would love to know how I can get Atlassian to help with this???
