I'm trying to change my email in my atlassian account.
I log in, change the email, it sends a verification email, I receive it, but it doesn't contain a link to confirm. It says:
"We noticed you recently changed the email address for your Atlassian account. To confirm the change, please confirm [my new email] to complete the account update."
And that's it. All text, no buttons, no link to click "confirm".
When I go back to my account, it says "Update pending verification. Please check your email [my new email] to ensure it's you and complete the update."
I have a free account and it says "Upgrade to a paid plan to get one-on-one customer support".
How do I solve this? I just want to change my email.
Thank you!
Hello @Laura Marsiaj Ribeiro , welcome to the Community!
Your email client or a corporate security filter is likely stripping out the HTML formatting. (most likely)
Try opening the message directly in Webmail, checking if the plain text itself is clickable, or re-triggering the change from an incognito browser window. If the email remains completely linkless across different mail clients, your company's organization admin may need to update it for you if it's a managed account; otherwise, Atlassian support will need to investigate the template generation from their end.

Thank you for your reply.
I re-triggered the change from an incognito browser and it worked! It sent two automatic emails: the first exactly like the one I received before (no link, no button, just text) and the second with a just a "verify your email" button. Weird. But what matters is it worked. :)
Thanks again!
Best,
Laura

Happy to hear that it worked.😊
In that case, I would say one of your browser extensions or cookies likely caused the problem.
