Is it possible to hook up a debit card instead of a credit card?

Yes, so long as it is supported (Visa, Mastercard)

I am paying for my subscription with a business debit card

I connected my business debit card, but Trello rejected it for unknown reasons and tells me to contact the bank. Did you also have this problem?
