Card View no longer shows images

I used to use the Card view to view all of my cards in a list view that was easy to search by date, etc..

It showed images so I could easily remember the card I was looking for, but it recently switched over to text only and I have no way to get it back. 

Is there any way to revert to that functionality or is there perhaps a setting I don't know about to control this?

Hi there,

Those pesky Trello developers have been sneaking changes out without notification or fanfare again.  I thought they may have learned from previous times that generally speaking, in business people don't like surprises....
