Cant view Trello notifications in browser

When I open up Trello in my browser I can see a red bell icon showing me I have notifications. I used to be able to click this and see a dropdown list of all recent notifications. However since Monday the drop down box doesn't work and it's a very thin small box that I can't view. Any tips please?

I am a mac user using Safari 10.1.2

Can you try a different browser or the current browsers incognito mode? 

Please see http://help.trello.com/customer/portal/articles/990633-troubleshooting-browser-issues-with-trello for detailed instructions on troubleshooting any issues with Trello in the browser. Please also try to disable any plugins or browser extensions you might be using. These sometimes cause issues similar to the one reported.
