after my last login i cant see my board anywhere... need help and there is no support from trello
Hi,
I truly wish I had a "magic button" to restore that board for you. As much as I want to help, since I am a community member (a fellow user) and not a Trello employee, I don't have access to Trello's internal databases to look up your account history or "undelete" anything.
Because we’ve tried every visual and technical trick available from the outside, this is likely a deep database or account migration issue that only a Trello staff member can fix.
Here is the best way to get a human to look at this:
Go to the Atlassian Support Contact Form.
Select "Account login and profile" (not "Technical Issues," as those often lead to AI loops).
In your description, explicitly state: "I have already consulted with the Community. I have verified my email, checked all workspaces, and verified closed boards. My main board has vanished after a login 2 weeks ago. I need an internal specialist to check if there was an account merge or a database error."
By telling them you've already done these steps, they won't send you back to the beginning of the circle.
I am rooting for you, Cyril! I really hope the internal team can pinpoint exactly where that board moved to. Thank you for your patience while we tried to solve this here in the community.
Best of luck,
Lara
Hi there,
I can only imagine how stressful it is to log in and see a blank screen where your work should be. Please take a deep breath; in 99% of these cases, the boards are not deleted, they are just "hiding" in a different account or workspace.
Since you've mentioned there is no direct support, let's go through the "Emergency Checklist" together to find your data:
The "Multiple Account" Trap: This is the most common culprit. Did you log in via "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" this time? Sometimes users accidentally create a brand new, empty account because their main Trello account was set up with a direct Email/Password combination.
Action: Log out and try logging in with every email address you own. Check if you see a different @username in the profile settings.
Check "Workspaces": Trello recently changed how boards are grouped. You might be looking at an empty "Personal" workspace while your boards are in a "Team" workspace.
Action: Click on the "Workspaces" dropdown at the top of your screen and select "All Workspaces" to see if they reappear.
Verify the "Global Home": Go to trello.com/home. This page shows your "Most Popular" and "Recent" boards across all your workspaces. If they are there, you'll see them immediately.
Closed Boards: Is it possible the boards were accidentally closed?
Action: Go to Boards > View all closed boards at the bottom of the list to see if you can "Re-open" them.
The Email Trail: Search your e-mail inbox for any old notifications from Trello.
Action: Find an old email about a card update and click the link. If Trello says "You don't have permission to view this," it confirms that you are currently logged into the wrong account.
One last thing: If you can find the URL of one of your boards in your browser history, please try to open it. If it loads, look at the avatar in the top right to see which email is associated with it.
Don't lose hope! Your data is almost certainly still on Trello's servers. Let us know what you find after checking these steps.

Hi ,
Thank you for checking those steps. Since you can see two old boards, it confirms you are in the correct account, but we need to find where that specific "Main Board" is hiding.
Let’s try these 3 targeted steps to track it down:
Check the "Boards" Page filter: Sometimes the sidebar only shows "Starred" or "Recent" boards. Go directly to trello.com/your/boards. This page lists every single board you have access to, categorized by Workspace. Scroll all the way down to see if it’s under a different Workspace heading you might have overlooked.
Search by Name: Use the Trello search bar at the top (or press '/' on your keyboard). Type the exact name of your missing board.
If it appears: Great! Click it and check which Workspace it belongs to.
If it doesn't appear: It’s possible you were removed as a member of that board, or the board was moved to a Workspace you are no longer part of.
Check "Closed Boards" specifically: If a board is "Closed," it disappears from all active lists.
Click Boards in the top header.
At the very bottom of the menu, click "View all closed boards."
If you see your main board there, simply click "Re-open."
Were you a Guest? If that board was created by someone else and you were invited to it, the owner might have changed the Workspace permissions or accidentally removed your access.
Action: Do you have the URL of the board in your browser history? If you try to visit the direct link and get a "Board not found" or "Private board" error, it means the board still exists but your account no longer has permission to see it.
Question: Was this board created by you, or was it a team board shared with you by someone else? This detail will help us figure out if it’s a permission issue!

I’m so sorry this is still happening. Since you were able to see it just 2 weeks ago and you’re using the same login, we need to consider if the Workspace itself was changed, rather than the board.
Please try these final three "deep dive" steps:
The "Guest" Trap: If the board was owned by someone else or a company, and they removed you from the Workspace (not just the board) in the last 14 days, the board would vanish from your list.
Action: Do you have any colleagues who were also on that board? Please ask them if they can still see it. If they can, they just need to invite you back.
Check your "Workspaces" list carefully: * Go to trello.com/home.
Look at the left sidebar. Do you see more than one Workspace name? Sometimes boards are moved to a different Workspace by another admin, and if you aren't a member of that new Workspace, the board becomes invisible to you.
Check your "Deleted" or "Expired" Emails: * Search your email for the word "Deactivated" or "Workspace." If you were part of a trial or a Workspace that wasn't paid for, Trello might have deactivated that specific Workspace. The boards aren't gone, but they are "locked" inside that deactivated space.
Direct Link from History:
This is the most important test: Go to your Browser History (Ctrl+H) and type "Trello." Find a link to that specific board from 2 weeks ago and click it.
What message do you get? * A) "Board not found" (It’s deleted or moved)
B) "You don't have permission" (You were removed as a member)
C) It loads! (It was just hidden in a UI menu)
One last hope: Even if you are on a free plan, you can reach out to the Trello Support Team via Twitter/X (@Trello) or use the Contact Form. Since you have a potential "data loss" issue, they might be able to tell you if the board was deleted or if there is a sync error with your account.
Don't give up yet! If you can find the direct link (URL) of the board from your history, it will tell us exactly what happened.
