Cancel subscription - but keep boards and cards

I am wondering what happens when you cancel your Trello subscription and go onto the free version.

I'm looking to cancel subscriptions for the whole team but I don't want to loose any boards or cards. Is this possible?

Free plan allows only 10 free boards. If you have more than 10 boards, then they will be closed when you cancel your subscription. Also, free plan allows only 10 collaborators. Details here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/change-or-cancel-your-trello-plan/
