Can you migrate cards from a non-premium user to a premium user?

Hi everyone, 

So the situation is like this: My team and I are free users of Trello. We didn't see a need to upgrade it as everything can be contained within the limitations of the free package. 

However, we've decided that we want to split the boards so that 1 board only contains 1 client. If another person from a third party (but within the same organisation) purchases the premium package, are we able to migrate the existing cards to the premium account?

The paid subscription works on the Workspace and the boards within that Workspace. So if you want the board to have paid features, you purchase the paid subscription for the Workspace the board is in OR you move the board or a paid Workspace. You have to pay for all members of the Workspace.
