Can you create a custom data field on a card and then sort the cards by the newest date first

I've created a Done list, and as I put the cards in the list, I want to populate a date field called done, the day I move it to that list.  Then I'd like the cards to show in the list, with the most recently "done" cards first... and oldest ones last. Is that possible?

I figured it out, it seems when I add the card to the list I can trigger that it's put at the top of the list, and fill in the done field with today's date.  That works pretty well.
