Can't select filter by member

When accessing trello board, I can't select filter by member to see what tasks each member has. when selecting any member, I get an error where trello automatically deselects and still shows all tasks of all members/ Pls Help!!

I'm having this same issue. Unfortunately, this article just tells you how to use the Sort Members filter, IF it were functioning properly.
