I have a Trello on another e-mail. I use it every day for work and personal use. I can login with my email and password, but the 2FA via Duo won't let me in this morning. This was working fine yesterday. I tried changing my password and that didn't work. I'm locked out from my Windows work computer, my Linux computer, and my smart phone. I can't even get a hold of customer support because it requires a login. I had to make a new account just for this post. Everything's on there! Please help!
In case anyone stumbled across this and has a similar issue, I rebooted my phone out of desperation and the 2FA is working now.
I've disabled 2FA and will be leaving it off. Pretty scary that an app I've trusted for years flakes out and I can't contact support.
Hi Richard,
I'm sorry for the bad experience, it's not the experience we want to offer.
Disabling the 2FA might create a scenario where you need the mailbox, so be careful and keep your email up-to-date.
I'd recommend enabling 2FA, save your backup codes (and never generate a new one, or the old one will not work anymore), this will make your account safer, and if need you can remove your 2FA with your mailbox, but it takes 24hours for security reasons. But the backup codes would be the best process in case you face a problem with your authenticator app.
The steps are described in this article.
