Can't log in. Gmail account w/ and w/o dot in name

Hi

My local Trello on my computer is logged into my account as first.last@gmail.com
Everything is fine here.

I am also trying to log into Trello on the web but It doesn't allow this and wants me to create an account with firstlast@gmail.com
(Note the period missing between first and last name) 

Which is what I actually had to create and use in order to post here on this forum

How can I fix this - so both web browser and local Trello App are logged into the same account

Welcome to the community!

Just to clarify, are you saying that when you try to log in with your email address containing the period , Trello is still asking you to log in or create an account with the version without the period?

Please try the following steps:

1. Open a private/incognito browser window.

2. Go to https://trello.com/login.

3. Enter the exact email address you want to use (with the period) and your password.

Trello will prompts you to create a new account, only if there’s no existing Trello account for that email address. Double-check which email is associated with your working Trello account by going to your account profile in the Trello app.
