Can't connect Trello to OneDrive

Hey there,

I had my OneDrive account connected for years and it worked great. However now the connection somehow got lost and I have to log in again. But when I click on "connect your OneDrive" and the pop up opens where the log in form should be, it just turns to code and all I see is this error:

I tried a different browser, deleting the cache, private mode, but it's always the same.

Any idea, what's going on here?
Thanks!

Dani

Hi @Daniel ,

This is a known Trello bug tracked as TRELLO-1798. It covers the same OneDrive Power-Up authorization failure, including the raw 401 invalid_client response shown in your screenshot.

Your tests in another browser, private mode, and after clearing the cache have already ruled out the usual local causes. The issue is recorded against Trello’s first-party Power-Up, and there is currently no user-side setting that can repair the authorization flow.

For now, create a share link for the file in OneDrive and paste that link into the Trello card’s attachment field. You can vote for and watch TRELLO-1798 for updates.

Hi @Germán Morales

thanks for letting me know.

Your suggested workaround solution is exactly what I did. I guess that's what I have to do now until the bug is fixed.

Take care!
