Hi everyone,

I’m unable to log into my Trello account because the two-factor authentication (2FA) code is being sent to an email address I no longer have access to.

Is there any way to regain access to my account?
What steps can I take to disable 2FA or update my email address?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Best regards,

Anneli

Hi Anneil, Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Do you recall whether your emergency recovery key that was generated when you first setup 2FA was stored anywhere? If you do, you could try using those as part of the login process to regain access: Recover your account

If not, your best bet is to contact your former employer to ask if they may be able to help you reclaim your account by temporarily activating your old email address. Once your old email address is activated, you can recover your password at https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword.

You might also check if you’re still logged in to the account on one of your devices (for example, on your mobile phone) so that you can share access to your boards with your new email address.
