Can notifications be opened in tabs that are already open

We have 5 different boards all opened in individual tabs with chrome. If I click on a notification and then click on the card while on one board it opens to the respective board within this tab instead of reverting to the respective tab for that card. I then have to change my tab back to the board I was on at the time

Yeah, right now, this is the current and expected behavior. I'll pass your thoughts to the Product team, however, I can't guarantee it'll be implemented or even possible to achieve, what I think it isn't, but the final decision is on their side.

Better if by clicking the notification bell then clicking the card in question it navigate to that tab if it's open already instead of going to the card in in question within the current active tab.
