Can boards have checklists that are not associated with any card?

I'm aware that checklists can be created on individual cards, but I'm wondering if it's possible to create checklists that aren't associated with any card on the board. When using the `boards/{boardId}/checklists` endpoint, does it exclusively return checklists tied to cards on the board, or can it also retrieve checklists that are not linked to any card? In other words, is it possible for checklists to be directly related to a board itself, rather than being linked to a specific card?

In Trello, checklists are always tied to individual cards and cannot exist independently. Unfortunately, there is no feature that allows you to create or retrieve checklists that are directly associated with a board without linking them to a specific card.

If you need a checklist for a specific board, you can create a single card dedicated to that checklist. You can then use the copy feature to apply it to any other cards as needed. However, please note that checklists cannot exist without being associated with a card on the board.
