I'm looking to trial a board for our customer service team.
In order for it to be effective, I'd need all/any member of our customer service team to view the Inbox and assign the cards to relevant tasks.
Is it possible to have a specific and all accessible inbox for the board?

No, the trelllo inbox is perssonal and can't be shared or made board specific. Each member has their own inbox. if you want everyone on team to see incoming request a common approach is to send them directly to a shared board (for example, using the board's email address, a form, or an automation) so the whole team can access and assign the cards.
