Can I show a board on a card?

Dan Smith June 14, 2017

I have a board per project, then a WIP (Work In Progress) board to manage my pipeline.

Is there a technique or Power Up which will allow me to displaya link to a board on the card?

If it could show dynamic information like last commit, last comment, last action then that would be even better.

I'm sure I found something like this the other day, but I didn't need it, then... ;-)

Cheers,
Dan

Hey Dan

Each board you have has it's own link, which you can find under the menu>more.  You can add this link (any any link) as a comment on your card., then you would just go inside the card, click the link, and your referenced board will open.

I think the Corrello Power Up could give you what you're wanting as well... http://help.trello.com/article/1022-business-class-power-ups-by-partners#corrello

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for your reply. I actually went through each PowerUp and found RealTimeBoards.

But then I watched the intro video and realised that they were talking about their concept of Boards, not Trello's.

There's probably a way to do this with Webhooks but I haven't had time to play around with Trello's API yet.

I checked out Corrello too, thanks, but the pricing is a turn off ($39 /month). I'm a single freelancer but, like so many other services, Corrello's pricing is based on the exponential payoff from boosting a team's productivity.

I really like the ease of Trello, but I'm regretting signing up for a year, as I think I actually need something like OmniPlan.

Anyway, TMI, thanks for your reply ;-)

Cheers,
Dan
