@David Harbour it's currently not possible to share specific cards with people for the moment. If you'd like to add them to a card, they need to be added to the board as well. There is also no concept of "filtered" views that would allow people to see a board with a subset of cards. You can filter a board, but anyone can easily remove that filter to see all cards.
There are some alternatives though - here are some ideas:
1. Use the external share power up. This will allow you to share certain aspects of the board with others. This will only allow for read-only access though.
2. Create separate boards for each member and sync the respective cards to those boards using Unito.
