Can I change the default options for copying a card to another board?

I have set up a master board to sync and prioritize the various cards on my workspaces and boards. When I copy a card from one of my other boards to a list on my master board, each time I have to select that specific board and list -- the default option that comes up under "Copy to..." is the board and list I am already working in.

Is there a way to select the specific default options that come up under "Copy to..." so I don't have to take this redundant step every single time?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for the screenshot and I can see how useful and intuitive your suggestion is! Unfortunately, we don't have that feature to have a default option under the Copy to feature. As a workaround, if you're doing this task on a regular and repetitive basis, I would suggest using Card button automation like this for example:

Once you have setup your Card button, this will display in all your cards and you can copy that card to your Inbox list in the master workflow board in just one click. Here is how it will look like inside your card:


You can set this up however you like, the card button name, the actions and even the icon that comes with it. Here's a link for more information:

This is helpful. I’m guessing, though, that you can’t set this up to make a copy in the inbox of a different workspace?

Good question! As of now, your Automation buttons can be visible only for you or shared with other people who belong to your board or Workspace.
