CHECKLIST ITEM WON'T SAVE

I am adding a checklist item to a pre-existing card. When I click "save" the checklist item is not saved. Why is this happening? I have restarted my computer twice with no success resolving this issue.

I figured it out. The checklist for this card is 99% full. So, deleting completed items on this card will give me more room to add new items to the checklist.
