I'm thinking about upgrading to business class but I wonder if once i do so my complete account (all my teams and boards) will be included or if it only covers a team.
Also, will I be charged extra if i add more team members?
Atlassian Team members are employees working across the company in a wide variety of roles.

Hi there,
Business Class is a per-team subscription; when you upgrade, you need to choose a specific team that gets upgraded, and most benefits only apply to that specific team.
Generally speaking, if you have multiple teams for the same business, Trello recommends consolidating as much as possible onto just one team, and upgrading that single team. You can then use the Collections feature to further organize boards within that team: https://help.trello.com/article/1004-creating-collections-for-business-class-teams
