Bug report - keyboard shortcut n inconsistent in Windows app

I hope I'm posting in the right place, as this is a bug report not a question that needs a solution.

As a long-time user of Trello in the web browser I use keyboard shortcuts a lot, including the n key to create a new card.

I have recently started using the Windows app for Trello and have found an annoying bug. I open the app and it goes directly to my preferred board, as expected. If I first click somewhere on the board and then hit the n key then it creates a new card, as expected. However if I open the app and hit the n key without first clicking somewhere in the newly opened app then pressing the n key causes every instance of the letter n to be highlighted, as if it has started a text search within the page.

I am using Windows 11 (latest) and the Trello app is 2.16.1.1012.

Thanks for reporting this behaviour. I was able to reproduce this on my end and have created a public bug report on your behalf: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1792# 

I have also added this thread as an internal comment to this report so that our engineering team can reference it and also use it to help align priorities. 

As of right now, I don't have an ETA on when this fix will be released, as it depends on various factors such as the team’s backlog and the complexity of the bug itself. That being said, with the link I sent above, you should be able to watch this issue by clicking on Start watching this issue.
