Why are our boards being closed and we cannot open them....?

In general on Trello, boards don’t close automatically or “by themselves.” A board is marked as closed (archived) only when someone with the right permissions takes that action, or if access settings change (for example, being removed from the board or workspace).

It’s possible that the board was closed by an admin or that your access was updated, which can make it appear as if the board was closed unexpectedly. Maybe you can check / confirm with workspace admins to see exactly what happened?
how do I confirm with workspace admins .. its not from my office. It seems as if trello wants me to upgrade...
