Hello,
I am setting up a personal management & concierge business and diary management is a big aspect. I want to create a detailed Trello board to just share with a client (I don't want them to have behind the scenes access to edit etc).
What do they come under? I am confused if it is a board member, workspace member or observer. With so many clients I need to be able to create their personal board & share it with them each week. Obviously I can't keep adding 'members' all the time, so I just want a share option.
Is this possible? Thanks!
Aside from the public board ideas (which technically makes it public to anyone), I recommend looking at External Share power-up. This gives you the ability to control what is shared and provides a private link for sharing with a client.
Hi Mike, Thank you so much for your reply! Much appreciated.
Ok, fab! So I could share the entire board this way? I don't think my clients (or me) would really be comfortable with the public sharing route, so I am looking for something more specific & secure. This sounds like a solid option. I need to check if it is included in premium.

It is a 3rd party power-up and at last check, it is $5/month for the subscription.
There is a 7 day trial you can take out to be sure that it does everything you need.
One thing you can also do with it is have labels on your board for "External" and then set up the External Share Power-up to show cards with the "External" label, so that the clients don't see any internal work.
You can choose which fields they can see too, so if you have custom fields that you don't want them to see, you can hide them.

You can create a public board and then share that link with everyone https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-visibility-of-a-board/
