Automations looking for a title?

Hi

Can someone explain me why butler automations looks for titles instead of a unique ID?

Let's say i have a list named "To do - DK" and i have a automation on that list, but i change the name, now the automation won't work, as it looks after the old title.


How come it doesn't just look after the lists ID instead? I thought that's normal practice ?

If i make a request to the trello API, im also using a ID, and not a dynamic title..

I agree that would be great. Butler was initially a Power-up some years ago and now it's part of Trello tool. It sounds like in this case we haven't quite struck the right balance yet but we're definitely always looking for ways to improve our tools.
