I would like to set up a rule on my board where all cards with a due date on the current date (not any other day and not all of them, just these ones) are automatically changed at 18:00 to the following working day.
For example, today is the 29th July and I have 5 cards on my list with due date on 29th July. At 18:00 I would like them to be moved automatically to the following working day, without touching cards with a different due date.
Is that possible?
Hi @Rossella
Welcome to the community!
While Trello's automation may not support the exact functionality of changing due dates at a specific time based solely on the current date, you can achieve a similar outcome using alternative automation setups. Here are two methods you can consider:
Using Due Date Trigger:
You can set up a rule to automatically change the due date when a card is due. This won't happen exactly at 18:00, but rather the moment the card becomes due.Rule Setup:
Trigger: "The moment a card is due"
Action: "Move the due date to tomorrow"
Using Scheduled Automation:
This method involves scheduling a daily action at 18:00 to move cards due today to a different list or adjust their due dates.Rule Setup:
Trigger: "Every day at 6:00 pm"
Action: "Move each card due today to a specific list and set the due date to the next working day at 6:00 pm"
Thank you, but I don't have the option of selecting "due today". Could I try with this: every day at 6:00 pm, move each card due in less than 1 days in list "Tareas Rossella" to list "Tareas Rossella", and set due the next working day ?

Hi @Rossella ,
You can definitely configure it like that too, but I'm sharing a video with you that demonstrates how to select 'Due Today.'
