Automate checklist item to move to a different list when it becomes due

Hi, I wondered if 'card due dates' and 'checklist due dates' are treated as the same thing. 
I'm trying to set up an automation so that when a checklist item (not the whole card) with a due date is due, the card then moves to a different list. Is this possible?

I'm afraid that this option is not currently available. There isn't a trigger for items due dates.  But you aren’t alone in wanting this as we have had other users interested in as well.
