Automate card move to specific lane base on card name?

I have cards that are being added to an holding lane on a board that I would like to auto move.  I would like to automate the move of those cards to the lane they belong in based on the matching of the card name and the lane name.  For example card gets added to the board with a title "Smith, John - task to do” and I would love to be able for that card to move to the list titled “Smith”.  Can I do this using look up variables?  Name of card and name of lane will not match but will consistently have the last name of the client as the first word of the card title.  List is client last name.
