Autofill a list

I want to have an automation rule that will automatically take the top card of list A and put it in list B whenever list B has less than 3 cards in it. The problem is, whenever I try to make a rule like this, it insists on modifying/effecting only the card that is initially moved out of list B which starts the thing by making it have less than three. This seems like a simple thing that should be able to be done, please help.

@Wynston Lyles welcome to the community :) can you share the rule you've created and maybe a bit more info about your workflow? You might be able to achieve it by using something like:

"When list "B" has fewer than 3 cards, find a card titled "xxx" and move it to list "B"" 

I'm not sure this would make sense for your particular workflow though...
