Assign user to checklist --> add that user to card

Hello, I'm trying to create an automation when anyone assigns a user to a checklist (NOT mention) item, that user is then automatically added as a member of the card. 

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do that.

This would be such an easy thing for Trello to fix by giving us access to the checklist member as a variable, like {checklistitemmember}.  The data is being produced and is in the API so I am sure it wouldn't take much to make it happen...
For now, it is not there.  
You could create a no-code solution using Make.com or Zapier (or one of the other automation platforms) to do this.

I think it could be done using Trello automation and HTTP gets but it would be very messy.

It wouldn't hurt to contact Trello Support to mention this.  The more people who contact them wanting this, likelihood of it happening increases a miniscule amount...
