I created a new rule where the card is renamed with the card number when it is added to the board. Is there any way to apply this rule to the existing cards on the board?

Hi Emma,

Do you have any automations that run on the cards when they are added/moved to a list?

If you don't you can use this hack...

  1. Create a list (I call mine Temp)
  2. Setup a rule that says, "When a card is added to list "Temp", rename the card to {cardnumber} {cardname}" and move the card to bottom of list {triggercardpreviouslistname}
  3. Use right click on the list and move all cards in this list to list Temp
  4. Let the automation do its thing

Never mind the original reply, didn’t realize this was a Trello question. The answer I provided was for Jira.
