Any way to organize/alphabetize Trello labels?

I have a lot of labels and selecting the one I want out of a disorganized list slows me down. There seems to be no way to click and drag the labels in the order desired. Please advise.

How do you use the labels?

In my opinion, the real strength of the labels is when filtering so if you don't want to filter by it, change it to a custom field. That way you can cut down your labels to a manageable amount.

One example, from above...

Instead of labels, use a priority custom field...

This of course assumes you have a paid Trello subscription.

Give it a go, I think you'll find things can be well managed and organised with custom fields.  

Then you can go 1 step further and add labels based on custom fields, for the things you want to filter on.
