Android app bug:cannot open board as it has not been synced

Hello everyone! 

In one of my boards,there was a member who hadn't used their phone for quite some time. When they started using the app again, one of the 4 boards they are amember of displayed the following message: Unable to open the board because it has not yet been synchronized.On the other 3 boards, everything works normally. 

Right away, I went to the options and tapped the sync button at the bottom of the screen. It synced unsuccessful.

Next, I closed and reopened the app, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and even reset the phone to factory settings as a last resort. However, the board still doesn't load. 

I then asked the person to create a new account, added this new account on another phone, and even then, the same issue occurred with the new account. 

When I opened the first account in a web browser the board that was having issues in the app opened normally and loaded everything. 

Finally, upon the community's suggestion, we cleared the cached data, but still failed to complete the synchronization.

My board doesn't have more than 10 members. Please help me.

Welcome to the community!

Could you please ask the member to try accessing the board from their mobile browser?

If that works, could they also try copying the board and then checking if they can access that copied board from the Trello mobile app.

Also, since they created a new account, could they please try these steps?

  • First, have them log out of any current Trello account in the app (they can usually find 'Log out' in the menu under their profile picture or the three lines).
  • Then, for Android users, they can go to their phone's Settings > Apps > Trello > Storage, and tap 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Data. and then reinstall it from the App Store to clear its data.
  • Once the app is reinstalled, they should open it and try logging in with their new account.
