Android Widget only displays one day, not given day

For creating widget display from cards in the inbox, you can only select from a specific day of the week, not the given day of the week. This means you must manually change the date at the start each day, which is a cumbersome process just to view cards. Is there any fix to this?`

The Android widget shows ALL cards in the Inbox. You don't have to select any specific day.
