I want to send him a "new invitation" to join as an Observer, but the only option I see is to have him as a member of the worksite, and then we will be charged for him.

How do I invite him only as an Observer?

Hi @Jay Wojcik - it seems the title of this question and the description are about to separate issues, so I'm going to assume that your issue is that you want to add someone to a board in your Workspace but not the Workspace yourself, is this correct?

You don't seem to be a member of the upgraded Workspace you're referring to. I would ask your Workspace admin to add this user and take a look at the Workspace's settings.

Thanks for replying.  I am not the Adm. My husband asks me how to accomplish this task because I used to be the Adm for a Foundation that had a paid Trello account.  I thought you could invite someone without making them a member and paying a fee.  I guess my question was not straightforward, or can only Adms get an answer that applies?  If that is not the case, how do you add someone to a board without making them a paid member?  TY
