I am a web designer and I work on different boards with different clients.
Each client board has the same columns:
1. Idea / Issue
2. To do / Backlog
3. Doing
4. Waiting for client feedback
5. Completed
This is great because each client has access to their board for adding ideas or issues. The client also gets a great overview of their project and what will be done.
For me and my team however, it is not that nice, since I have to go through the different boards, and never get an overall picture of what I am doing for all my clients.
Is it possible to somehow set up a Master Board (same structure as above), accessible only by my team, so that we can see all the different cards from different boards.
When moving a card in the Master Board, they should also move on the corresponding client boards, of which that card is attached to.
Is this possible today?
Does a workaround or similar solution exists?
Could this be added as a customer request for future features in Trello?
Hope you have some nice ideas on this!
Thanks!
Marcus
Hi Marcus,
Right now, no, this does not exist. There isn't a great way of combining content from multiple boards into one board display, unfortunately. In your case, you may have each board set up the same way with the same list structure, but others may not, so you lose a great deal of context when viewing a board differently. Trello is built on the idea of a shared perspective, ensuring that everyone is viewing the same content from the same perspective and context.
That said, there are a couple of Power-Ups that might help you keep multiple cards in sync. The first is Cardsync, which you can read about here: http://info.trello.com/power-ups/cardsync
If you're looking for more options such as syncing entire boards, check out Board Sync by Unito. https://info.trello.com/power-ups/unito/board-sync
I would suggest taking a look at those to see if they might be workable solutions for you!

Hi @Marcus Fütö
This is most definitely possible with Unito! We're offering an amazing resource in the form of a webinar / tutorial to help people solve this problem. You can find it at the link below. :)
