After I convert a task (in a current card) to a new card it disappears and there is no new card showing with the name of that task. Have tried searching the words in the task but nothing shows in the search results. Appreciate some guidance, thanks.

Cards created from the checklist are normally added to the bottom of the same list. Please check if you have any automation rules on that board that are moving or archiving the newly created cards. You may also test on a different board to see if the same issue persists.
