Adding comments to card

We are having issue with adding a comment and above snip pops up from last 3 days. Please help. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out to us! So sorry to hear about that.  

1. Could you please let us know if you're using the desktop app? 

2. Do you notice things are working better for you in an incognito browser, or is the issue still happening in an incognito browser?

3. Please double-check that you're using a supported browser and that it's fully updated. If you have any updates available, go ahead and process those browser updates now and try to load up your Trello boards to see if that helps.

4. We also want to know if your browser is reporting any JavaScript errors. Please bring up the error console for your browser and repeat the behavior, then copy the text of any errors that arise and send them along.

To bring up the console:

  • Chrome: Cmd+Opt+J (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+J (Windows)
  • Firefox: Cmd+Opt+K (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+K (Windows)
  • Safari: Go to Preferences (Ctrl+,) and enable the "Develop" menu via the "Advanced" tab. Then click on the button on the upper-right that looks like a page, then the Develop menu. Select "Show JavaScript Console".

@Blair at Atlassian  It's been more than a week having issue with adding comment. Have tried everything as discussed on other post as well but still the issue. Please help.

It's possible your board does not belong to any workspace and this is causing problems. Why - I don't know, but you can try the solution described in mentioned post.

@Basia Milanowska  Thanks for checking out and posting the thread. Our board does not belong to any worksapce. I have tried eveything that has been described as a ''SOLUTION'' but the issue is still there. It's been more than a week now. Cannot see any solution in any of the raised issued in different other thread.

It's more of a workaround than solution really... You have to create a new board and move or copy lists from the old one to the new one - this way you will keep activity history and comments. It's a lot to do, but since support is not helping, at least this should work for now.

That sounds like a good idea. Will keep posting and create new board.
