Adding More Members in Addition To The Free Ten

We use Trello at work and it's a great tool

We've hit our maximum of 10 members and want to add more

When you upgrade to add members, is this in addition to the first free 10?

When you add the 11th member, you have to upgrade the whole workspace i.e. you have to pay for 11 licenses. More details here https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-billing-works-with-trello-premium-and-standard/

Yes, when you upgrade your Trello plan, the member limit of 10 is the free limit. You can add more members beyond the first 10 by upgrading to a paid plan, which allows you to include additional members based on the plan you choose.
