Add details to list during list creation

When I create a list item, to add details I have to press return/enter then click on the list item to see the details box. I want to get from the list to details box in one step, not two.

@Pat Reid do you mean when you create a card? If that's what you mean, then you can create a card and open it at the same time by holding the "shift" key as you hit enter. You can see other keyboard shortcuts here:
