I am handing over a few boards from my own workspace to a colleague. This colleague created his own workspace and is able to copy my boards. All the cards are available in his new workspace, however: the activity history is not copied. Any advice?
Hi @Jervis Groeneveld ,
This is intentional to keep the new board clean. If you'd like to retain history, you would need to move board instead of copying it. 👀
If you need this for auditing, you could export data for reference, for example, JSON (see article), but I'm not sure if you'll be able to import that; it's mainly for storage and auditing.
Cheers,
Tobi
Thanks Tobi, I will give that a try.
BTW: with all respect to the Trello-designers, an option 'copy activity history: yes/no' would be a better solution. In the suggested solution, the boards disappear from my own workspace which is not what I want

Would be a nice-to-have thing for sure @Jervis Groeneveld
I've reached out to Trello support to see if they can maybe create a new feature request related to that 👀
I'll keep you posted if they create a new suggestion on JAC.
