Hi, I'm hoping someone is able to help me with something.
We export our boards weekly, to see which list a card is in in order to process weekly tasks.
Once the data is exported, we can see whether a card has 'activity' by filtering the last activity date column. However, sometimes cards show they have activity, when they in fact don't. It may be that someone has just moved the card lower / higher or renamed some small details.
I feel this issue would be solved if the activity menu could be exported instead of all the board data - as this would show just the items which have physically been moved from one list to another within a time-range.
Does anyone know how this can be done?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi there,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Unfortunately, there's currently no option to filter the action or omit certain ones in the Activity history.
The only workaround I can suggest is to look into the list of available Power-Ups if some might help you get more granulated data on card activity. You can browse through available options at https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=activity
Because many of the Power-Ups' services are provided by separate companies, we're also not able to endorse any specific one since we don't work with them directly.
Another alternative I can suggest is to use the Card Aging Power-Up developed by Trello which provides a visual indicator of when a card was last updated on a board. This Power-Up also doesn't allow filtering activity actions, but you can avoid the board export step to check on last activity date 🙂
Hope this information helps!

Forgot to mention that you can also take advantage of the default Filter feature on the board: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/filtering-for-cards-on-a-board/
This option also wouldn't allow you to filter for specific actions on cards, but you can open cards that have been active in the past week right away on the board to see if anything significant happened to them.
