Hi Kat,
Some context: I am working at Peru for a US company, this US company uses Atlassian (Jira + Confluence). Also, we have to coordinate with people at Netherlands. We have this scenario since January 2019.
Then, here en Perú I will be the person that needs improve Jira skills as much as possible, for Jira admin tasks and Confluence.
I hope this explanation helps.
Hello @jorge.herbozo,
As someone who has completed ACP-100 and ACP-600 and will shortly be attending ACP-500, I believe I could shed some light.
In my opinion, a Jira certification is quite difficult to take just by going through the courses they provide. They design the certification course for people having a couple of years of experience using the application.
I have gone through ACP-600, 100 and 500 courses and except ACP-600, both the other courses are just explaining what you have to know to pass the exam. It just explains the topics in detail. People who are new to the Jira administration could hardly make use of that course.
Atlassian has an awesome documentation base. Almost all administration activities are clearly explained within those. Also, the community is very very active and helpful. Most of the things you get confused or stuck at the beginning should have already been answered in the community.
Once you have built an experience in managing the Atlassian application then you could start with the ACP-100 certificate.
ACP-600 is more for project administrators rather than Jira administrators. I feel ACP_300 is of a more advanced version of ACP-600.
ACP-500 should only be considered if you are managing the backend of the Atlassian application. If your company uses Atlassian Cloud then ACP-500 has no role in your work.
I hope that helps.
ACP-600 could be the easiest. But that does not mean its the most useful certification for a Jira Administrator.

Solomon
Thanks. In my personal opinion, it is good to just keep practicing using it. It does not matter if you are certified or not. But it is good to get certified to show your expertized. At times, certification is not the true test of knowledge when it comes to the technical field.
